The state of well-being offered by frequenting the woods has positive effects both on a psychological and physiological level. All human senses combine to achieve these benefits: the vision and direct contact with trees, the sounds of the forest, the taste with products of the undergrowth, the sense of smell thanks to which we inhale the volatile organic compounds released by the soil and plants. Positive effects of these sensory immersions have been demonstrated on states of anxiety, stress, depressive states and on the immune system.
The proposed excursion is intended to be a sensory walk during which participants will be invited to remain silent and will be offered activities to awaken the senses. Each activity will last approximately 15 minutes.
Approximate length of the route: 7 km.
